Cellulose-Graphene Bifunctional Paper Conservation Materials: For Reinforcement and UV Aging Protection

چکیده
Paper artifacts have unique cultural and historical values. However, over time, many paper appear with disease characteristics such as embrittlement photoaging, losing the most fundamental function of literature archive. The reinforcement handling degraded is, therefore, a necessary measure to extend their service life, key which lies in prevention photoaging. This intended use graphene oxide (GO) UV protective agent, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) reinforcement, polyethyleneimine (PEI) modifier. In this work, amino-modified composite (CMC-aGO) was prepared by chemical modification, used bifunctional protection material anti-ultraviolet reinforcement. It showed excellent performance both tensile strength testing resistance testing. CMC-aGO raw is low cost, colorless, transparent, simple synthesize, convenient operate, an conservation dual functions aging

Paper Actuators Made with Cellulose and Hybrid Materials
Recently, cellulose has been re-discovered as a smart material that can be used as sensor and actuator materials, which is termed electro-active paper (EAPap). This paper reports recent advances in paper actuators made with cellulose and hybrid materials such as multi-walled carbon nanotubes, conducting polymers and ionic liquids. Two distinct actuator principles in EAPap actuators are demonstr...

Introduction In wood industry, adhesive bonding is one of the key process steps. To ensure continuing technological progress in wood industry it is necessary to explore new possibilities of improvement in adhesive bonding. The potential routes for performance improvements suggested by a state of the art report issued by COST Action E13 Wood Adhesion and Glued Products (Dunky et al. 2002) focus ...
متن کاملFiber dimensions , lignin and cellulose content of various plant materials and their suitability for paper production
Fiber dimensions and lignin and cellulose content of various highly productive, non-wood plants and agricultural residues were examined to assess their suitability for paper production. Plants like kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) and giant reed (Arundo donax L.) internodes gave very good derived values, especially slenderness ratio, which is directly comparable to some softwood and most hardwood...

Skin is a model of choice in studies on aging. Indeed, skin aging can be modulated by internal and external factors, reflecting its complexity. Two types of skin aging have been identified: intrinsic, mainly genetically determined and extrinsic-also called "photo-aging"-resulting on the impact of environmental stress and more precisely of UV rays. Simplified in vitro models, based on cellular s...

Cellulose represents the most abundant renewable and biodegradable polymeric material on earth. Due to its low cost and functional versatility, cellulose has been a key feedstock for the production of chemicals with various properties and applications over the past century. In 2000, the world produces 187 million tons of wood pulp annually. Most of it is used as raw material in the production o...
